A delegation from the African Development Bank said it will recommend to the bank’s board of directors the provision of “real financial support” to Zimbabwe’s agricultural sector, The Sunday Mail reports.
The delegation, led by AfDB director for Egypt and Djibouti Hassan Ali Khedr, visited one of Zimbabwe’s oldest agricultural research stations, Rattray Arnold.
“What we see here is positive progress,” Khedr said. “The country promises to recover even much faster in the near future.”
