The next Aid Transparency Index will be canceled due to lack of funds, according to an announcement by Publish What You Fund, the United Kingdom-based agency that produces the index.
The index has been published biennially since 2012, and rates the transparency of all the world’s largest aid donors, based on data published via the International Aid Transparency Initiative, or IATI, standard.
PWYF was due to release another edition of the index in 2026 but has had to amend its plans after it did not receive funding for the latest edition.
