    Former Canadian International Development Agency minister Maria Minna has offered Canada’s expertise and advanced technology in developing renewable energy in Bangladesh, The New Nation reports. Minna expressed concern over the country’s plight in the face of an environmental crisis upon seeing the condition of people living in coastal districts during her visit last week. She pledged to continually highlight the needs of one of Canada’s trade partners.
