China is the newest member of the Inter-American Development Bank. What kinds of initiatives will Beijing help finance at the bank, and what will China’s engagement in Latin America look like?
Devex asked Bernardo Guillamon, manager of the Inter-American Development Bank’s office of outreach and partnerships, at the IDB’s 2013 gathering in Panama City.
In our video interview, Guillamon also discusses a $2 billion fund for social, infrastructure and private sector initiatives that China will co-finance with the IDB.
