In our ongoing efforts to investigate the SDG talent gap and shed light on related trends such as remote work, we’ve analyzed postings from the Devex job board. While there is an overall upward trend of remote jobs being posted across the sector since 2021, a closer look at the last 12 months paints a more nuanced picture.
Here are some of the key numbers we uncovered:
11.7% — The percentage of remote jobs advertised on Devex over the first eight months of 2023 compared to the total number of postings during the same time period.
5 — The number of U.N. organizations that account for almost one-third of remote opportunities posted over the last 12 months.
500+ — Number of development organizations with at least one full-time remote position available on the Devex job board during the last 12 months.
