Devex is the leading independent news organization reporting on global development. It has a team of specialists that track tenders, grants, and open opportunities from over 850 public and private providers. In this article, we looked into our own data to see how our community used our funding platform — which donors got the highest engagement and what opportunities were checked out the most. The figures are based on the total number of unique views, and not the number of times an account viewed a post. This gives us a more accurate estimate of the engagement each donor received. Devex users come in two types — organizational and individual. Our figures for total engagement and most viewed opportunities are based on both types of accounts. But our figures for the location of viewers and the type of organizations were only based on those with profiles on the Devex organizations database.
