The U.S. development finance agency informed staff this week that it will extend the timeline for its planned restructuring, a move that comes after negative feedback about the process.
The U.S. International Development Finance Corporation, or DFC, which finances private sector development solutions, last month revealed a new strategy that would overhaul the agency, leaving some employees upset and confused about their jobs and their investment deals.
“We know how busy everyone is and have heard the desire for more time to implement any changes,” the agency wrote to staff in an email that Devex obtained.
