A mission from the International Monetary Fund has recently concluded discussions with Dominican Republic officials as part of the fourth review of the country’s standby agreement with the fund. The mission, led by Alejandro Santos, noted that economic activity in the country rebounded significantly during the first three quarters of 2010. IMF is due to complete its fourth review of the agreement with final assessment procedures to be conducted in Washington, D.C.
