Egyptian Livelihood Improvement Scheme Secures AfDB Aid

The African Development Bank is providing USD1 million to support the technical assistance component of a livelihood improvement project for smallholder farmers in Egypt.

The assistance will go toward the Rural Income and Economic Enhancement project. The initiative is backed a USD70 million loan from AfDB, according to CPI Financial.
