    The European Union is donating 13 million euros ($20 million) in order to generate more than 17,000 jobs in Gaza. The sum will go to the job creation program of the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East. Part of the funding will also back the

    agency's humanitarian projects in the education, environmental health and food distribution sectors.
