First education, then agriculture, then... A look at IDB's policy overhaul

What new policies is the Inter-American Development Bank putting in place to clarify issues around development effectiveness?

Devex asked Koldo Echebarria, IDB manager and chief development effectiveness officer, at the bank’s 2013 gathering in Panama City.

In our video interview, Echebarria discusses IDB’s efforts to completely revamp its strategic and policy frameworks to ensure they mesh with the bank’s new priorities.

“We are starting with a sector framework on education and a sector framework on agriculture and we are planning to finish the twenty frameworks in the next two years,” Echebarria said.
