Haitian PM Seeks Fast Delivery of Pledged Aid

Haitian Prime Minister Jean-Max Bellerive has urged donors and international organizations to deliver on their pledges for the earthquake-ravaged country as soon as possible, Xinhua reports. Bellerive explained that fast-tracking the promised aid would facilitate reconstruction efforts in the country.

Bellerive was speaking from Santo Domingo in the Dominican Republic, where he attended a preparatory conference ahead of a Haiti reconstruction summit in June, also in the Dominican Republic.
