    The Inter-American Development Bank and Daiwa Securities Group have issued poverty reduction bonds to help curb poverty and boost living conditions in Latin America and the Caribbean. These, which are the bank’s first impact investment bonds of 2011, will be offered in Japan.

    The bank raised USD279 million from the sale of its first poverty reduction bonds in July last year.
