The Inter-American Development Bank forged a strategic partnership with the Goldman Sachs’ 10,000 Women Initiative to encourage entrepreneurship among women in Latin America and the Caribbean, said IDB President Luis Alberto Moreno during an ongoing women’s summit in Argentina. Under the partnership, the bank and the 10,000 Women Initiative will carry out training and other capacity building activities for underserved businesswomen and commission a study on the challenges encountered by women entrepreneurs.
