The Inter-American Development Bank is ready to lend USD3 billion to boost the fight against swine flu and mitigate the effects of the financial crisis in Mexico,
reported. "Mexico is confronting these challenges in an effective, timely and transparent way," IDB President Luis Alberto Moreno remarked. "In support of those efforts, we will expand the resources for a series of programs in our pipeline and we will speed up disbursements."
