Latin America is already suffering the impact of climate change with higher temperatures and more natural disasters. The region has the opportunity, however, to lead the fight against such dreadful changes with new help mechanisms now available, according to a World Bank report. The annual report "Low Carbon, High Growth: Latin American Responses to Climate Change", is being presented during a regional visit by WB experts who were in Central America last week and are now touring Andean countries. The visit will finish with a visit to the Southern Cone and Brazil by mid March.
