Only 37.2 percent of the money pledged by public donors for reconstruction and recovery efforts in Haiti has been disbursed, a recent report by the office of the U.N. special envoy for Haiti shows.
Of the approximately $4.6 billion pledged since the January 2010 earthquake, only $1.71 billion has been disbursed, the report says, according to CNN.
The report analyzed all pledges made by public sector donors for reconstruction and recovery activities in Haiti. It does not include pledges for humanitarian activities and funds from private organizations, CNN notes.
