The Asian Development Bank is offering a USD150 million multitranche financing facility to help India expedite its plans to improve urban infrastructure.
The India National Capital Region Urban Infrastructure Financing Facility, which will provide funds in two or more tranches, will extend long-term financing for ubran infrastructure schemes in a bid to encourage private sector support. The first tranche amounts to USD78 million.
The Indian National Capital Region’s Planning Board will manage the investment program, which is expected to be completed by June 2017.
