    The Millennium Challenge Corp.’s road construction and rehabilitation projects in Nicaragua have helped raise farming income in the villages of Leon and Chinandega, proving how implementing a “homegrown” program achieves results. Stephen Marma, MCC resident country director in Nicaragua, said in his MCC blog that the program has increased farmers’ yield and improved market access through improving farm-to-market roads.
