Top officials from the U.S., U.N., European Union and Russia are expected to discuss new means of reviving Middle East peace talks when they meet at the annual Munich Security Conference on Feb. 4-6 in Germany. Steffen Seibert, spokesperson for German Chancellor Angela Merkel, said the German government hopes the Munich meeting will give the fragile peace talks an “urgently needed boost,” the news agency adds.
