    Money Matters: Is USAID on the right track on local funding?

    In this week's edition: Development experts' take on USAID's localization progress and what more to do, how Gulf donors spend their money, and proposed foreign aid cuts in the United States.

    Upon the release of USAID’s localization update, I began to wonder what the development community thinks about how the agency is doing on local funding.

    I spent a few days talking to people who pay close attention to the issue to get a sense of what they think of USAID’s progress.
