Nigerian State Attracts DfID Health Assistance

The U.K. Department for International Development is ready to help Nigeria’s Enugu state boost its bid to achieve the Millennium Development Goals on health, This Day Online says. The newspaper quoted a statement by Richard Montgomery, head of DfID operations in Africa, who was speaking during the launch of the third phase of a health system project that seeks to increase the poor’s access to affordable health care and health facilities in the state.
