The top global development hubs in Asia

A look into the countries and cities with the most job openings in Asia, plus a list of some of the top global development employers in each.

    By Genevieve Gregorio // 01 October 2024
Asia, the largest continent in the world (both in population and land coverage), is home to some of the world’s fastest-growing economies, emerging superpowers, and a large mix of low-income to high-income countries. This makes Asia a focal point for international development initiatives — playing a crucial role in addressing the most pressing needs from education, health, infrastructure, and poverty alleviation. In this article, we look into the countries with the most job openings in Asia, with a list of some of the top global development employers in each. While we see a large presence of United Nations agencies such as UNICEF and the U.N.
