The African Development Bank is offering a total of euro240 million (USD327 million) to support development initiatives in Tunisia.

Of the amount, euro236 million will be used to rehabilitate roads and build bridges in Tunisia. The financing is AfDB’s largest allocation to the country to date.

The funding also includes euro1.973 million to help implement Tunisia’s national information system on water through a study on integrated management of surface water and groundwater, soil, and agricultural irrigation. Another euro306,000 will be used to fund a strategic study on the development of cultural industries.
