UK Boosts Development of Renewable Energy in Poor Countries

The United Kingdom is contributing

(USD81 million) to a multidonor program that seeks to develop renewable energy in low-income countries. The global program is administered by the World Bank and also supported by Norway, the United States, the Netherlands and Switzerland.
