Some USD12 million in financial aid from the United Nations will be given to Kyrgyzstan to help promote stability and counter the effects of ongoing political instability in the Central Asian nation. The U.N. Secretary-General’s special representative for Central Asia, Miroslav Jenca, said that the amount of aid may increase “depending on the situation,” The Financial reports.
