USAID Helps Bolster Capacity of Local Uzbek Authorities

    The U.S. Agency for International Development has unveiled a program aimed at improving the capacity of local authorities in Uzbekistan. The program, which is expected to run until September 2012, will help local authorities improve the delivery of their services and engage citizens in designing and executing projects, according to Trend News Agency.
