    The United States Agency for International Development is asking the Philippines' Office on Muslim Affairs to explain why USAID assistance failed to improve the lives of people residing in the Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao. OMA Executive Director Datu Ali B. Sangki has yet to respond but he suggested that USAID and other international donors should give OMA the authority to check and monitor the progress of development projects in the country, the

    reports.
