Watch: END Fund CEO on pandemic impact on NTDs

Via YouTube.

The END Fund Chief Executive Officer Ellen Agler says that because of the coronavirus pandemic, her organization has put a pause on all mass drug distribution campaigns designed to prevent neglected tropical diseases.

In an interview with Devex President and Editor-in-Chief Raj Kumar, Agler described how The END Fund, a major NTD funder, recently received a proposal in one country to shift from a campaign approach to disease prevention to a door-to-door approach — an effort that would cost 20% more.

For more on the future of NTD eradication in the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic, tune in to the complete interview.
