Abt Associates is recruiting for a wide variety of positions — from entry- to senior-level — according to International Recruiter Catherine Baker.
A candidate who would stand out to Baker would be an “individual that’s not only technically strong but also has strong communication skills and you really get a sense that they’re a collaborative individual,” she noted.
Although there is often a “gut feeling” about a good candidate for a certain role, Abt is trying to strengthen the interview skills of their recruiters, Baker said. The team is using targeted competency-based questions to provide a better portrayal of a candidate’s attitude toward work, people and life in general.
