The World Bank is granting USD30 million to help reconstruct homes destroyed by January’s earthquake in Haiti. Some 140,000 residents in Port-au-Prince will benefit from the project.
The grant will be used to remove 60,000 cubic meters of rubble, repair community service infrastructure, provide cash grants for housing reconstruction, and support advisory services to help communities manage debris removal and housing reconstruction.
