Banakin is the initiative of a gang of friends, about half of whom have a family with Congolese roots.
In May 2015 they travel together to Kinshasa and especially the travelers without Congolese blood are so impressed that a non-profit organization has to come.
They see a metropolis in expansion that receives hundreds and thousands of people from the interior every day. They all hope for a better life. But they end up in a city where serious jobs barely exist, where traffic is chaotic and decent education is almost unaffordable. Furthermore, health care lamentable and leisure activities is a utopia. But the newcomers remain. There is no way back. Without a view of a future, they apply the unwritten article 15 of the constitution: débrouillez-vous. Pull out your plan.
