Besel SA manufactures and sells squirrel cage induction motors. The company was founded in 1950 and is based in Brzeg, Poland. Besel SA operates as a subsidiary of Cantoni Motor S A.

The history of the Besel SA Electric Factory in Brzeg dates back to 1950 .
At that time, in addition to engine regeneration, the plant started the production of electric motors for table fans.

In the following years, fan induction cage motors, serial commutator motors for fritters and vacuum cleaners, electric bells with transformer and complete table fans were also produced.

The first successful attempt to construct and start production of squirrel-induction motors with a higher technical level were the 'e' series motors. These were three-phase and single-phase motors with a capacitor starting phase and with a resistive starting phase and with a centrifugal switch.
