HEALTH-RELATED ACTIVITIES
COHRED provides support to countries to strengthen Southern institutions and systems active in research for health and science and technology (for example, academic research, governmental or non-governmental organizations). COHRED enters into strategic alliances with organizations with complementary activities, such as the New Partnership for Africa’s Development (The NEPAD Agency), the Pan American Health Organization (in Latin America), West African Health Organization, to create a more coherent and effective global platform for research for health. COHRED has also established a global platform on health research, “Health Research Web”.
