Fondazione Italiana del Notariato, consisting of the National Council of Notaries and the National Fund of Notaries , started its activities in January 2006 with the intent to promote the dissemination of legal culture and knowledge of the law, to the public guarantee and the public interest.

In particular, the Foundation promotes studies, research, cultural initiatives in the field of law, funds research programs of individual scholars or associated, Italian or foreign. Fondazione Italiana del Notariato organizes conferences, meetings of study, training and refresher courses and distance through its e-learning platform in civil, commercial, international, comparative, taxation, professional ethics, history of the notary, legal and information technology in all subjects notarial interest. Fondazione Italiana del Notariatoresponsible for publishing the conference proceedings and results of the research in the journal "The Foundation's Notebooks" and establishes scholarships for young graduates in law.
