National Rural Learning Services (SENAR) (Brazil)
The National Rural Learning Service - Senar provides a change in the attitude of the producer and the rural worker, who go to great lengths to guarantee good quality food to Brazilians. It awakens the rural population with the offer of Rural Professional Training, Social Promotion Activities, Technical Education of Middle Level , in person and at a distance, and with an innovative model of Technical and Managerial Assistance .
Created by Law No. 8,315, of 12/23/91, it is a private, para-state entity, maintained by the rural employer class, linked to the Confederation of Agriculture and Livestock of Brazil - CNA and administered by a tripartite Deliberative Council. A member of the so-called Sistema S, it has the function of fulfilling the mission established by its Deliberative Council, composed of representatives of the federal government and the rural working and employer classes.
SENAR serves thousands of rural Brazilians free of charge every year, contributing to their professionalization, their integration into society, the improvement of their quality of life and the full exercise of citizenship.See more
