Laura Borner and Chloe Chick met in Arusha, Tanzania in 2004 and together with a team of women from Australia and the USA created 3 Peaks 3 Weeks Africa - an expedition to summit three of Africa's highest peaks in less than three weeks. In January 2007 the first all-female team summited Mt Kenya, Mt Meru and Mt Kilimanjaro and raised USD $385,000 for three grassroots organisations in Kenya and Tanzania.

They hope to raise a total of $700,000 upon completion of the 7 Summits! This effort will be over the next 2 years. All funds from this effort will be directed towards CAMH’s new Urgent Drop-in Clinic, that will help the effort ‘to dismantle stigma and build hope for a meaningful recovery’.
