Mr. Elrahal has over 30 years of international experience managing large, complex energy, economic governance, trade, and public finance projects. He has focused on defining and implementing strategic initiatives, building organizational and institutional capacity, driving transformational change, and facilitating sustainable and clean energy deployment. He is experienced and well trusted and has successfully managed global complex projects and client relationships with both public and private sector. Mr. Elrahal America energy experience includes almost 20 years of work at Duke Energy Corporation, where he participated in the re-structuring and institutional development of Duke Energy from a local utility company to a world class energy company, provided strategic and oversight management of the pursuit and implementation of international projects. His global energy experience include work at Saudi Aramco, the world's largest energy company, where he led the business development efforts pursuing energy business valued over a billion USD. In addition, he was the managing director for Galveston LNG, a liquified natural gas trading company, and was based in Dubai, where he developed and maintained new business and client relationships with both private and public sector stakeholders. Mr. Elrahal is a US citizen, was born and educated through high school in Beirut, Lebanon, is a native Arabic speaker, and fluent in French and English. He and his family live in Charlotte, NC.
