Dr. Agapitos Hatzipetros, holds a Master's degree in Engineering and a Ph.D. in Engineering and has extensive professional experience in the design, development, implementation and evaluation of complex projects. During his 14 years of experience, he has worked in complex projects in Europe, Africa, Asia and America, working for large private companies and recently for EU-funded projects. His main career focus has been private sector development, working closely with SMEs, identifying opportunities for them to participate in corresponding value chains. Regional trade is his second career focus, having gained valuable experience steering complex projects such as Trade Related Facility (TRF), a 32million euro regional project to success and drafting the key activities and detailed budget of SADC region’s 11th EDF funded regional trade projects.
