Federico Bilder has worked extensively in the finance sector across more than 25 countries in Africa, Europe, Central Asia, Latin America, and the Middle East. He has done so for more than 15 years both as an independent consultant and as senior manager for financial institutions' networks. He has a successful track record in the implementation of numerous technical assistance projects, access to finance and blended finance schemes, financial sector assessments as well as evaluation missions. He has also designed and co-managed a SME Credit Guarantee Fund. Federico is also the co-founder of A2F Solutions (www.a2f-solutions.com) a consulting company specialized in supply chain financing. The company has formed a partnership with Centrifuge (www.centrifuge.io) to use its permissionless blockchain based platform with the objective of increasing access to finance to MSMEs in emerging and frontier markets by developing digital payables and receivables financing schemes focused on the long tails of the supply chains. Furthermore, Federico has also worked in retail banking for a major commercial bank in Germany.
