Summary

I have, in the past 20 years, built expertise, experience, and passion for evidence-based development programing. I have designed/operationalized Theories of Change (TOC), interventions, Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) and database systems in Open Data Kits (ODKs), DevResults, DIS, MEL, Power BI, STATA, R and SPSS, surveys, Work Plans, and Budgets for over 30 initiatives/policies. I have conducted Evaluations and Assessments, and produced 54 journal articles, conference/working papers, technical reports, theses and case studies on agri-food systems, productivity, incomes, poverty, food security, technology adoption, livelihoods, rural finance, climate change, resilience, education, governance, public services, WASH, gender, youth, and vulnerability. I have organized workshops, trainings and demonstrations to share/validate results, engage policy makers, and establish partnerships. I have worked with multidisciplinary and multicultural teams across Africa and in Europe using English and Portuguese. I apply leadership skills, emotional intelligence and ethics to motivate, unite, delegate, communicate, learn and adapt. I seek challenging roles to drive my desire to become a global leader in Development Programing and Performance Management.
