I have over 14 years of substantial international and domestic experience that includes business development, proposal management, project management, training and advisory roles. Some of the major responsibilities have included: • Pre contract-closeout activities for DoEd and other contracts • New business development efforts from capture planning, pre-positioning, bid tracking, and intelligence gathering ( USAID, DFID projects) • Desk research/study, and coordinating as necessary with market intelligence and bid and prorposal team. • Drafting teaming agreements • Staffing Proposals • Proposal content including personnel descriptions, management plans, key qualifications and in some cases subject matter expertise to meet RFP specifications. Previously, I have worked for a USAID-funded project in Afghanistan from 2007-2011. In that capacity, I contributed proposal content (management plans, partner roles and responsibilities and personnel descriptions) while managing participant training proposals for all project components for over 300 Afghan nationals in areas including Financial Management, Human Resources, Project Management and its life cycle, Program Management, Strategic Planning and Policy Making, Leadership and Development, and Gender Mainstreaming. As the participant training director, I managed the programs in their entirety including assessing needs of the client, designing the proposal, shortlisting the staff, budgeting, forecasting as well as impact analysis and lessons learned upon the completion of the program.
