Augustine Ambe Tanifum

My experiences cover more than twenty (20) years where I provided leadership and technical direction in programs/contracts/grants management; overseeing planning, implementation, monitoring and evaluation; serving as key liaison to donors, especially to USAID, host governments and implementing partners and NGOs; staff management and project reporting; financial management, administration and compliance; and meeting project goals and objectives.

I have advanced degrees highlighted below, with many years of international development experience in the U.S and overseas: managing donor-funded programs in developing countries and collaborating with a wide range of stakeholders at the government, private sector and community levels; building coalitions and promoting public-private partnerships; developing and implementing youth empowerment and livelihood program in Jamaica; reforming institutional capacity in AGRHYMET/Niger; carrying out parliamentary reform in Afghanistan; and implementing social, economic and other development programs with USAID Cameroon and Niger; with expertise on USAID assistance, acquisition rules, policies and procedures
