Augustus has over 19 years of experience leading multi-sector, donor-funded evaluation studies on programs in more than 45 countries. Augustus is an experienced MERLA Executive and Evidence Broker who has established effective, results-based monitoring and evaluation (M&E) systems, developed consolidated databases for field surveys and research studies, and led evaluation studies on multiple donor-funded projects. Augustus is also a Certified Knowledge Manager (CKM) from the Knowledge Management Institute (KMI) in the USA, and he specialises in promoting active learning to facilitate the utilisation of evidence for adaptive management processes. Augustus has extensive experience establishing results-based monitoring and evaluation (M&E) systems and consolidating databases for impactful field surveys. His unique skill set and dedication make him an excellent fit for roles driving organisational learning and evidence-brokering initiatives in the private, government, and international development sectors. As a MERL expert, he has progressed along multidisciplinary tracks, with his engagement building on project-specific delivery and evaluation consultancies in public health, Internet freedom, education, countering violent extremism (CVE), humanitarian assistance, democracy and governance, business startups and entrepreneurship, technical and vocational education and training (TVET), and fellowship programs. Other technical areas include climate change, agricultural development, food security and livelihoods, maternal and reproductive health, peacebuilding, and gender-based violence (GBV).
