Belinda Smith

Belinda Smith has worked in Technical Vocational Education and Training for the past 30 years. Belinda has worked across a wide range of countries in Africa, Central Asia, Asia and the Pacific on national, regional and cross-country TVET systems, governance, PPP, evaluation and quality processes, both at a policy and an implementation level. During this time Belinda has worked with senior officials and implementation teams, on work ranging from funding models, employer engagement strategies, qualifications frameworks, quality assurance frameworks to regional recognition frameworks. Prior to this, Belinda worked at a state and national level in Australia on national governance, standards, assessment approaches, national qualifications, employer engagement strategies, project evaluations and developed sectoral strategies for workforce development. Belinda has a Masters in Education focusing on TVET systems and a two year Post Graduate Diploma in Adult Education.
