I have over 9 years’ experience in nutrition programming, implementation and in strengthening nutrition M & E in Kenya gained from working with NGOs in providing technical support in the implementation of MIYCN interventions. While working with the USAID MCSP project, I supported the development of BFCI guidelines, its roll out and implementation in collaboration with other line ministries such as the Ministry of Agriculture. I supported a Trials for Improve Practice assessment in Kisumu and Migori Counties which led to the development of a counselling guide and recipe booklet for children 6-23 months. . In addition, I have experience in conducting qualitative and quantitative nutrition assessments in Arid and Semi- Arid Lands in Kenya (Turkana, Baringo and Samburu counties) to identify gaps and inform MIYCN priorities in programming and implementation including TIPs assessment in Western and Northern Kenya, COVID-19 and diets study in Nairobi and Uasin Gishu counties. I have excellent interpersonal and professional skills through engaging and collaborating with multi-sectoral platforms and other implementing partners at the county and sub county levels. I have a well-developed cultural sensitivity, having worked with diverse communities. I work with minimal supervision and uphold high standards of integrity. I have supported the development of project reports, documentation of best practices and peer-reviewed publications.
