I am an experienced development practitioner who has implemented various development projects in fields such as value chain development, financial inclusion, and Enterprise development. Through the years I have developed skills in the application of participatory approaches to development such as participatory rural appraisal, participatory capacity, and vulnerability assessment, participatory monitoring evaluation and reporting techniques, community engagement strategies, and participatory market systems development. In addition, I have skills in public and private sector engagement and civil society institutional capacity strengthening. Currently, I am involved in a Nutrition and livelihood project that seeks to empower young women in 4 key thematic areas of food production, Primary health care, sustainable income generation, and gender equity. Additionally, I am also managing two sub-projects namely Grass to Cash and agrinutrition for improved nutrition among rural communities through improved forage production and nutrition for mothers and children under 23 months through the promotion of African Leafy vegetables respectively.
