Summary

Dave Algoso is a social change strategist. As an independent practitioner, he advises leaders fighting for social justice and progress, from global development agencies to local activists. He fosters collaboration around shared challenges, blending the technical with the human-centered to design change strategies for a changing world. In his consulting, Dave has worked with over 20 clients on engagements ranging from one-off workshops to multi-country studies. Previously, he was the Managing Director at the social impact firm Reboot; launched a micro-grants fund for youth groups in Kenya with Mercy Corps; and supported universities on increasing faculty diversity with the Advisory Board Company. He started his career managing political campaigns in a dozen states with Common Cause and the Public Interest Research Groups. His writing has appeared on WIRED.com, the Guardian, Devex, ForeignPolicy, the Stanford Social Innovation Review, and elsewhere. He’s been a guest lecturer, panelist, moderator, and trainer for New York University, the Service Experience Conference, TechChange, and more.
