Dr. Marianne Calnan is a global health professional with 23 years of experience in HIV and TB control programs and health systems strengthening. She has worked in various countries and regions, including sub-Saharan Africa and Southeast Asia, providing technical assistance, capacity building, program management and evaluation services. She has collaborated with donors such as USAID, PEPFAR, Global Fund, WHO and World Bank. She possesses a robust background in epidemiology, public health, health policy, and quality improvement within health systems. She has authored or contributed to several publications and reports on HIV, TB and systems support issues. Currently, she serves as the Chief of Party for a project implemented by University Research Co. LLC, where she leads a team of experts dedicated to designing, implementing, and evaluating innovative, evidence-based solutions for pressing health challenges in the Philippines.
