Dr. Deepak Paudel is a distinguished program manager, public health professional and health systems researcher with over 24 years of experience working with donors, international organizations, the Government of Nepal, academia, and civil society. His extensive expertise encompasses project management, systems strengthening, governance, policy diplomacy, capacity building, community engagement and implementation research. Dr. Paudel has held pivotal roles, including as the Chief of Party for Save the Children's nationalscale programs to combat TB, HIV, and Malaria, supported by the Global Fund; Deputy Chief of Party for the USAID-funded Strengthening Systems for Better Health program; and Director for Health, Nutrition, and HIV/AIDS for Save the Children, Nepal. He also worked with key health sector donors, as the Senior Program Specialist for USAID and Health Adviser for UKAID/DFID in Nepal. His blended skills in program management, child safeguarding, and community development make him a dynamic leader for any organization. Dr. Paudel holds a PhD in International Health from LMU Munich, Germany, and a Master's in Public Health and a Master's in Public Administration from Tribhuvan University, Kathmandu, Nepal.
